Traveller: Ships and Ship Shares

You may obtain ship shares or even a large stake in a ship during character creation. These can be converted to a regular pension. This pension is paid at the beginning of each year, effective upon leaving the service where the benefit was awarded and may be collected at any Class A or B starport.

Initially, Travellers will begin play without a dedicated ship and have multiple options to acquire a vessel in play.

Travellers receive an additional pension of Cr1000 every year for each ship share they have obtained.

One Ship Share can be traded for one Structural Repair Unit or Technical Repair Unit, or 2D Cosmetic Repair Units to remove quirks or damage from a ship in dock at a facility that can perform the required maintenance.

Travellers will receive an additional pension of Cr25000 every year for each time they rolled a ship (excluding Scout ship) as a benefit. This represents part ownership in a commercial vessel and the dividends received on the investment. Additional rolls of a Scout ship can be used to obtain additional shares or to improve pilot skills.
