The Adventuring Party

Return to the Undercroft
While returning to the Undercroft of the Tholos, the party encounters an adventuring party from Hanowa, gathering pelts to sell. The party trades and gather some rumors.
- The city of Hanowa is built along the West coast. Smiths and craftspeople of all types can be found there.
- Buried with a dead king is a powerful, but evil sword.
- The Sword of Kroan, an enchanted blade, disappeared in the region near the Village of Mitra’s Fist, in a hidden valley in the mountains.
- The beast men are enslaving humans.
The Undercroft

2-2 Ambush from Around the Corner
The party is immediately beset by Feral Vrykolakes and Nekrokynes. The recognize wounds on the creatures from when they were dispatched on Moonday the 9th of Shul in the year 52 New Sky. The slain monsters had risen to fight again.
A Feral Vrykolales strike a critical hit against Vi’sil.
The wound blackens immediately and a horrid infection from beyond the grave begins to spread. The character must make a DC 10 Fort save or temporarily lose 3 Stamina. The infection continues to attack each day, forcing another DC 10 Fort save each morning (failure results in the loss of another 1d4 Stamina) until the infection is magically expunged. The character does not heal while infected.
Vi’sil determined that the creatures could always be revived with blood or meat. The party decided to burn the remains of the fiends.
2-11 Personal Quarters
Venturing deeper into the undercroft, the party encounters Gallus leaving personal quarters. He is caught by surprise and quickly subdued by the party.
The party searches Gallus and the Personal Quarters, finding great loot.

2-12 The Prison of Gallus
The party fights their way through the Prison of Gallus. They fight several Vrykolakes and Nekrokynes. They retrieve the following treasures and carry the undead remains outside to burn.

Ashford
Retuning to Ashford, the party talks to the villagers, sharing scraps of maps they had recovered in the undercroft.


They are able to sketch out an updated map of the area.

The Oracle of Ashford can not cure Vi’sil’s disease, but she is able to stave off the worst effects. She suggests the party visit Mitra’s Crossing. There is a temple to Mitra there. It is said that the temple holds a sacred statue of the Weeping Maiden, known to offer blessing and remove curses and disease.
