The game is hosted on Fantasy Grounds VTT (Unity Engine).
Setting
Once, the Archipelago was teeming with trade and the islands were filled with prosperous civilizations. What caused the collapse? War, famine, great upheavals of land or sea? The answer is lost to time.
A recent volcanic eruption on the isle of Venicus released a phlogistonic disturbance which expelled magical shockwaves, tearing at the night and opening a window onto an alien sky. New stars appeared and moved in strange paths, without pattern. This served as the death knell for celestial navigation. Island hopping by day maintains some meager trade between the islands. Beyond the archipelago lies only mystery. Calendars adopted New Sky (NS) for the new era.
Isolation of the islands has given rise to a number of small kingdoms and holdings, each wildly varied from the other. Some have flourished, others are desolate sepulchers of their former glory. Travelers to this region journey into an area as strange and varied as the raw forces of magic themselves.

Conventions and House Rules
Attacks of Opportunity
If a player character or non-player character has an unused action in a round, they can choose to spend their action when an opponent moves out or through the threat range. This is their action for the round. Coming to their initiative turn in the round, they would still have a move action, but the attack action is already spent.
A PC or NPC can use a full round action to “disengage” to avoid attacks of opportunity.
Random Target
Often, a “monster” may have a wealth of optional targets during combat. All identified optional targets should make a luck roll (Hold Shift Key). Repeat until their is one or more luck failures. If there are multiple luck failures, compare luck scores. The character who failed the luck roll by the greatest margin becomes the target of the attack.
Example:
- Character 1 Luck: 12
- Character 2 Luck: 8
- Character 1 fails his luck check when he rolls a 17 with a margin if 5 (17-12).
- Character 2 fails his luck check when he rolls a 10 with a margin of 2 (10-8) .
- Character 1 is very unlucky and becomes the target of the attack.
